THE BACH STORE

The Pop-up-concert hall from New York come to Erfurt for the second time.

It's a really typical pop-up store which even made it into a New York Times editorial. The pianist, Evan Shinners, graduate of the famous Julliard School, rented an empty shop in order to play Bach for a whole month – for five hours a day with free entry for an audience of passers-by and those who were interested. Since then the Bach store has been repeated on the famous Wall Street and artist friends performed alongside Shinners.

The Bach Store is now coming back to Erfurt, for the second time after 2022. For a whole month, Evan Shinners will be a guest in Erfurt's city centre and open the doors for his own performances, evening concerts and discussions with Bach-affine guests - and everyone is welcome, in their lunch breaks, after shopping or before a doctor’s appointment, to discover Bach for themselves. Variety is guaranteed!
