Masterpieces from the Renaissance by Victoria, Lassus and Palestrina – born 500 years ago – in dialogue with modern settings of the same texts: to the Miserere by Allegri responds the Miserere by James MacMillan, a choral work with cult status from the year 2009.

The ORA Singers, who have just won the German record critics’ annual prize, demonstrate in the atmospherically lit cathedral what the British choral tradition means when it is given life by young professional singers.
