From the Seine to Ohrdruf: How Johann Christoph taught his younger brother to play the flute.
In Ohrdruf, the ten-year-old Bach lived in the home of his older brother Johann Christoph and proved to be a diligent student. In return, Johann Christoph introduced him to French composers, whose works he appreciated and collected. In this concert, his chamber music for flute, arguably the most French genre, can be heard - Johann Sebastian Bach meets the geniuses of the Grande Nation.
