Festival 2026: Heavens above!
It is likely that Johann Sebastian Bach let fly more than a hearty curse when he had dealings with politics and administration. Bach is not just a musician and a composer but also a subject. During his lifetime he grated against people who told him what to do, sometimes with gentle rancour but often while protesting strongly. The 2026 festival programme looks at Bach’s baroque princes.
Discover the fascinating world of Bach in Thuringia from 27 March to 19 April 2026!
