In this humorous analytical lecture performance Marc Sinan takes on the sacred saints of German musical history: Bach, Mozart and Beethoven – larger than life, iconic, and all still contemporary in the classical music canon. Why particularly these three? Are they really the considered artists of the century – or are there unseen social powers here at work in cultural hierarchies and historical allegiances?

Sinan follows these questions with musical knowledge and analytical rigour and in this wild and entertaining evening digs amusingly at the pillars of high culture without losing any substance in the process.
