Mass in B minor

V54 | Pygmalion

Thuringia

Weimar - Weimarhalle

Final concert

For the finale of the festival, here is a truly special highlight: For years, the musicians of the French ensemble Pygmalion have been on Thuringia Bach Festival's wish list. In the anniversary year, the Bach specialists, led by the exceptional conductor Raphaël Pichon, are coming to Weimar, making their debut with Bach's arguably greatest work. A festival season dedicated to life thus fittingly concludes with the "Dona nobis pacem" – leaving nothing more to be said.
