FESTIVAL 2025

In spring 2025, the Thuringian Bach Festival presented over 60 concerts in Bachland Thuringia with a total of 17,800 visitors.  We thank you all for your curiosity and interest in the festival and artists and wish you a wonderful summer until we meet again in autumn with our ‘BACH >> FORWARD’ concert series.

Thuringia is Bach’s land: Many generations of the Bach family lived and worked here – and literally wrote music history. Johann Sebastian Bach spent half of his life in Thuringia; numerous historic sites are preserved and worth a visit.
