PETER TUITE

2019-2021: Peter Tuite is the joint creator of the Glenn Gould Bach Fellowship.

He was appointed Founding Fellow in order to establish the Fellowship parameters, and through direct experience, to set its project milestones.  As Founding Fellow he has explored Bach's Goldberg Variations, the Art of the Fugue, the Musical Offering, and thereby created a Fellowship prototype, and a path for future Fellows.

TAKE ONE

Peter Tuite has created two very different film versions of Bach's Goldberg Variations: „Take One“ was filmed at the historic Long Room Library of Trinity College Dublin (Ireland).

TAKE TWO

„Take Two“ was filmed at the new Kontor centre for the arts in Erfurt (Germany). Two both musically and visually different interpretations of the same piece of music, that allow new views on a „Music of Change“.
