Bach’s St Matthew Passion is a significant cultural treasure which unites peoples. The question of what effect it would have in 2727, 1000 years after the first performance, is the starting point for a moving dance debate around universal human experiences – developed and presented by one of the leading ensembles of the lively Israeli dance scene. The Kamea Dance Company is accompanied by the Baroque specialist, Werner Ehrhardt, and his ensemble who perform the St Matthew Passion live in most gripping fashion.
