The early cantatas from Bach’s time in Mühlhausen appear to come from a different musical world. And yet this introverted music, arranged in chamber music style, already demonstrates much of Bach’s genius. Hans-Christoph Rademann presents three of these cantatas in the authentic venue in Mühlhausen, in the Divi Blasii church, where Bach worked as an organist.
