Born in 1992 in Velburg in Bavaria, the organist, Martin Sturm, has won numerous international competitions in recent years, as a result of which he now has a full concert diary at home and abroad. Since 2019 Sturm has been Professor of Organ and Improvisation at the Weimar Franz Liszt music school. His recital on the famous Trost organ in the town church in Waltershausen is dedicated to the Brandenburg Concertos which in 2021 celebrated 300 years since their first performance.
