V35 | The Netherlands Bach Society
Shunske Sato

For almost a century the Netherlands Bach Society has set standards for preserving Bach’s heritage. Founded in 1921 it is the world’s oldest Baroque ensemble which is well known for its performances of the St Matthew Passion. The artistic leadership has been in the hands of the famous violinist, Shunske Sato, since June 2018.

At the forefront of their centenary celebrations the ensemble has been working for several years on presenting the composer’s complete works under the banner “All of Bach” – and releases new videos making up this impressive complete performance every week.
