V29 | The English Concert

The English Concert founded by Trevor Pinnock has been a leading international interpreter of Early Music and Johann Sebastian Bach’s works for decades. Its unique lively sound has been maintained after the end of the “Pinnock era” under its current conductor, Harry Bicket as well as in the collaboration with the South African pianist, Kristian Bezuidenhout, with whom the ensemble has created a close artistic partnership. The ensemble’s leader is from Thuringen, the internationally sought-after violinist, Nadja Zwiener, who currently lives in Leipzig.

3G rule active

Corona numbers are rising in Thuringia, as they are everywhere in Germany - and in the Ilm district the first warning level of the state-wide early warning system has now been reached. This means that the "3G regulation" now also applies in Arnstadt: We would therefore like to ask you to bring your proof of vaccination or convalescence to the concerts at these venues, or otherwise to get tested on the day. We sincerely ask for your understanding in this matter.
