Daniel Hope needs no introduction: as one of the leading violinists of our time he early conquered international stages with his teacher, Yehudi Menuhin. With his varied music projects, books and films he currently manages to enthuse people about classical music better than almost anyone else. Since joining the legendary Beaux Arts Trio his heart has also belonged to chamber music. In Erfurt he brings a programme which sets Bach in the context of both the Romantics and the modern – and thereby provides ample opportunity to entice people with his and his friends’ immense virtuoso playing.
