The Flemish organist, Wouter Dekoninck set himself the task of transcribing great Baroque organ works in order to make them accessible to a wider audience. Of particular interest is the unusual Third Part of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Clavierübung (Keyboard Practice) – he arranged the organ part for the sound scape of a Bach orchestra, brought out the original Lutheran chorale texts and created additional choral parts from existing text and music. The result is an impressive mass, which enables one to view Bach’s great music in a completely new light.
