Kirche St. Bartholomäus (Traukirche)

Daniel Lozakovich

Daniel Lozakovich is an exceptional talent: born in Stockholm, he began playing the violin at the age of six and made his orchestral debut with the Moskow Virtuosi two years later. This early beginning was followed by an unbelievably rapid career progression which included working with Valery Gergiev, Daniel Hope and Maxim Vengerov among others. Lozakovich has performed regularly at the Verbier Festival and amongst others has also appeared at the Aix en Provence and Lucerne Festivals.

His recent Deutsche Grammophon CD is devoted exclusively to Johann Sebastian Bach, whose concertos and solo works have a firm place in his concert calendar. Thus, this concert provides a unique opportunity to encounter a rising star in the intimate setting of the church in Dornheim, this special church in which Bach married his first wife.
